I ran it on my computer and cut my bootup time in 1/2 (actually, I think a little faster than that)!! In stead of a minute (from when I see the XP loader screen), it's about 20 seconds now!! Sweetness.....
I did have to turn on a few extra services afterwards, but it's still rockin!!

I did have to turn on a few extra services afterwards, but it's still rockin!! | yup, it really is a little overjelous in turning services off, last time i tried the tool it actually gave me longer boot times, quite wierd thing, used to work so wonderful last year, must be some stupi microsoft thingie sceing it over

1) It disables some old legacy support (Win311/95) but can increase the filesystem performance a bit.
2) Windows ZIP folder feature is kinda old and unless.
3) It had a lot of security issues in the past.
4) Security issues! you can disable it if you don't use folder sharing and local networking. |
