#14 | | Edelweiss Corporal | IoI downloaded it , runned , and :
And i was very plesed with the performance gained.
One thing , it actualy maked my XP bootup longer , but thats not a problem.
I knowed long time now that i dont get all the performance from my 6600 GT and my new Barton cored processor. I even manualy closed some process
to free some power. But that dint help muth.
Now its work like it shuld , with the TWEAKER , latest WHQL drivers , and some setting adjustment , im able to enjoy GTA SA , like it shuld wort.
But thats not change the thing that the engine of San Andreas isint too OPTIMIZED. And thats somthing i dint expect of Rockstar. |

#16 | | Newbie | Hi, first of all, I am very pleased with this program. It is very easy to use and really affects the speed. But, I have a problem about file sharing after I had applied this tweaks. Like you said, it's about NetBios option. So, I reloaded the tweaker and selected Enable NetBios. But It doesn't help. And what is DCOM?, is it ok to disabled it in a computer with wireless network.
Sorry for my bad English,Thank you |

#18 | | Newbie | Wow. I just installed it on x64 and ran it. My system now boots virtually instantaneously, and the system as a whole is much more responsive. Congratulations on making such an effective tool. |

#20 | | Dedicated Member | Regen, a couple of "To do"s:
1) add a "3. Don't change" option
2) maybe add some form of documentation with the tweaker (as in what does each option do, or something along those lines)
3) one day, in the near/not-so-near future, add a Win32 GUI |
