This time my vote goes to Nvidia. Their cards and SLI came earlier in few months then ATi and I’m pretty happy with my 7800GT SLI. I feel like ATi is not pushing enough like they don’t even care anymore. .

ATI here .. NVidia has come a long way and has some powerful new technology like SLI but ATI IQ is still incredible

i don't have too much respect to nvidia's men and have evan less respect to their prices, but they make good stuff, nodoubt about it.

if only they made the prices more reasonable i might have gotten a better graphic card...

I'm torn at the moment, as both teams have pros and cons and there is no obvious number one.

Overall I agree with Mac Daddy - ATI's image quality is superior. It's just a shame that their new cards run so hot and the fans have to spin at annoyingly high volumes to keep them cool.

Guess I'll just sit on the fence this poll

ATi still have bug in rendering like some missing texture or incorrect renderred effect some time it make performance bad without reason when some effect occourred. if they can get rid of that they should get my vote

I'm really "brand neutral", about everything... But I see this as more than just video cards now days. Nvidia definately is agressively pursuing this concept. They want you to have their chipset on your motherboard and use 2 of their video cards. It seems that ATI is only grudgingly trying to keep up here. The flip side is that I believe ATIs video cards are much more efficient, and I suspect better designs. Nvidia reminds me of 3Dfx in the way they are relying on a brute force approach. I can't really say at the moment which camp is better from my own personal experience. Still waiting on parts for that to change.

The real question for me is: which product will perform better once DX10 is released? I suspect that ATI already have more design experience, since they built the graphics part of the Xbox 360 (which is why they got behind Nvidia in keeping up with product releases). I think we may see a definate reversal of performance / popularity next year when Vista arrives.

ok like this , NFSU2 on ATI RADEON 9600 PRO Ultra missing effcects (non visible neon on botttom of car, only the ligh of it , etc. ) poor performance , on 6600 GT no problem at all , and i actualy wuld say that the IQ is muth better too.
i own this two cards so i refering to them. (also puting the 9600 pro on marked was so fucking gay by ATI)
So i go for nVidia.
