i own this two cards so i refering to them. (also puting the 9600 pro on marked was so fucking gay by ATI)
So i go for nVidia. | The 9600 is considered an old card Bro .. Try my 9800 with that or newer and you might be surprised at what you see .. clearly
What was the NV Gainward card I smoked on benchies on a DH review running a 1.5G Celeron .. 5800 ?? forget

#17 | | Guest | ATI is going to win because you have more ATI users that have to come here to get working drivers. Nvidia drivers work pretty well coming out the door however. | |

#19 | | Newbie | About ATI drivers. I dont remember when ATI had any problems with their drivers. Its a stereotype. All games are working (and worked) fine on standard ATI catalyst. We are searching for some performance boosting drivers and thats the reason of coming here. Nvidia tweaks their drivers(they are partners of almost all games). ATI doesnt. Thats NGO job

#20 | | Newbie | | GPU: 8800GTS/320 @ 570/875 | | both nvidia and ati have to stop what nvidia started: the "runs better on..." stuff. its like you have to get one brand for some games and one for others...this is unfair for all of us users.
also, there is the benchmarking field: one says nvidia is better, others goto to ati's.
hope they get things together and make designing games really brand-independent so one can choose any brand and have the performance this card can get despite the game that is being run with. |
