Every ECS board i have ever owned has fried on me in one way or another. Not until i walked into a PC Club in my area and asked the guys if ECS is a reputable Mobo brand did i figure things out.

Surprising because my question toward them only got a loud laugh instead of an answer, but i guess that was my answer haha.

Asus has always been good to me in the past. I experienced bad customer service from Abit, so I'll probably never buy their stuff again.

All my life i've always had ASUS boards and i never had ANY problems with them, whether in overclocking or normal use. My current board is an MSI P965 Neo-F though, and I am completely satisfied with it as well.

ASUS and DFI. I have used ASUS for years and my built my wifes rig on an A8N SLI Premium but I have swithed over to DFI for the OC flexability the Bios provides.

Both good boards.

Got an ASUS P5B. Very good motherboard for a not so high price (paid 188$CAN tax incl.)

My MSI was good, but i had severe IDE issues with it, besides that, it had top-notch perofrmance.

Though I'm running an Asus now (and as happy as a clam with it) I'll have to go for Abit. Every board I've had up to this one has been Abit and I've had no board related issues and extremely stable OCing on all of them.
