If I scraped all my pennies together I probably could afford an X1900XTX, but I certainly couldn't afford the divorce it would cost me

Well since I have one and didn't have to pay for it I could blow $600-700 for another to run SLi but I would rather not for now as that is alot of $.

Absolutely not!!! These cards are VERY VERY VERY expensive now. I guess the prices will drop down drastically in a few monthes from now (like always ).

So...for now...I really don't think they worth the money asked for them.

The better bang for the buck usually seems to be one step slow than the top end like the 7800GT.

Yeah, TOO BAD that's the case for most of us. Meanwhile, I guess we'll have to keep waiting for the prices to go down and manage with video cards with lower performance, but still pretty good cards, I must say.

Just wait a few months its will go down fast as usual...

If you want performance you are gonna have to sell your first born, sell an organ, bite the bullet, etc.

this is quite right the prices are for people that really can lose a lot of money on their PC and the there is no Upgrade option like giving the card back and then add some cash and get the new generation of cards
