I just wanted to pipe in with my AMD system.............. It beats the crap out of all my friends (yes I have a few) Intel systems.

AMD has been kicking Intel's ass. It has a much better architecture especially the Dual Cores. Intel has took a great lose this generation.

My first CPUs were Intel since then I use AMD
I never wanted to use another Intel CPU.
They are clocked high but for gaming AMD takes the pie.
Of course if you do other things then gaming you could consider Intel but
if you are a real gamer going for FPS then get a AMD.
Cheaper and more performing.
Thats all I gots to say.
