I guessed I stopped paying attention, last I seen it had less then 500 votes. I also find it hard to believe that this place has that many followers, especially considering there's like 10 active members.

well, i don't know anything about windows 8 but the 10 tech preview so far just seems like 7 with a new layer of dummy-proof shit on top. i do like the file manager better than 7's version. i'm only running it on an old laptop right now but it seems quite snappy. i may even give it a go on my 8350fx...

I'll wait until it's released since I can get educational licenses for 15$, with Genuine CD and everything.

From people who've tried the preview I've heard mostly good comments so far. Apparently quite optimized even on older computers.

Agree with it being high, but then why is there 1500+ for negative ones too, are they trying to disguise their awesome number, or what, only regen can look into it, and even then I do wonder why would MS bother. The damage of being caught doing that outweighs the benefits.

Actually there is 772 negative ones, almost 4k positive, and 777 people who were confused by the naming.

But I agree on the fact that it could generate more damage for the MS, to pull stunt like that. On the other hand we know almost all companies use dirty tricks/do stupid shit for money. Not saying this is the case.

What's interesting is it has gone up 200 in the last month, would be nice to know how quickly it gained 4000+...
