Good.....but until the consoles move to DX11 most games will tip thier hat toward it with some features just as a check box feature for their crap ports to pc....I doubt many will make full use of it in the near future.

Yeah, consoles will move to dx11 sometime in 2020 - I wont hold my breath.

The consoles that are out now don't even use DX 10. The 360 was suppose to support dx 10 but now Ati says it can not. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/24/xb...-confirms-ati/

The Ps3 uses opengl.

About Dx 11 its Too early to judge.

They dont need a reason to sell W7... Vista was the reason... Too many people had in mind that Vista was horible so they changed the name to get hope of the fellows XPers to pass to 7...

They are yet to make a DX10 exclusive game, so it will be quite some time before we see a game where DX11 shines.
