I think its way too early to judge. I dont think anyone (i am on win7 and i7 920) has experienced anything dx11 to even comment. I think its good the ground work is laid for future development, but I think they need to do it in a way that makes it adaptable to the community. For instance you were forced to upgrade past XP for direct 10, but even dx10 was never fully utilized and required very expensive hardware. I believe they're trying to over hype it for profit rather that maximize it for a true performance & quality gain balance. F MS for stunting openGL growth and development. |
