PhysX could be cool but...:
1. nVidia is the only owner of this "thing"
2. In this moment only crysis have realistic graphics and this game should have any physics engine. Do physics have sense when hair look like helmet and face like few cubes sorted into one face-like shape? I don't think so
3. This "thing" gives too big performance loss.

I have an Ageia pcie 1x card that still keeps up pretty well. It does makes it nice in games like UT3 for us ATI users but is starting to show it's age. It's cool addition but not a must have.

Its a waste of time,

I ran a PhysX game on my computer, I couldnt run it in more than 9 fps for these shitty effects that dont even look good, or simulate anything close to real physics.....

and my bro has a gtx 250 and i play them on his build,

they still look like shitty effects...

Until it adds something essential or important to the game, it is nothing but crap.

Regardless of whether the wiggly bit of cloth hanging over there is accelerated or not, it still lowers FPS. And as such is a feature I don't want.

I think with time physx type acceleration will be supported by all hardware and DX or similar API and when that time comes the hardware and software will be further ahead that they can support using these accelerated physics sub-routines to aid in realism or accuracy of games, think similutors/shooters etc.

my view of this is that U can't have PPU inside the GPU on a single GPU card
the FPS loss is to big not to be noticed

LOL

I think there is a "meh" or at least a "blah" option missing in the survey. In absence of better choices, I went with "I guess it's OK".
