First off Nvidia sucks. With that said I do have to give physx some credit. My buddy just gave me his 9800GTX+ after he got the new 4890. Well I'm using it for my second monitor and using my 4870X2 for the main. Of course I'm using windows 7. I have to say what a difference with PhysX on in games like Mirrors edge. Again it's all eye candy and with my 4870X2 rendering the graphics I do not see a performance drop. I guess at this point I am ready for Havok or PhysX or Shittix or whatever crap the big 3 want to promote. It has been an interesting test using ATi with Nvidia.....I truthfully would not by a separate card for PhysX. Not work the money and Ageia proved it was too expense of a limited use add on.

Not sure if you are talking about that PCIE card or the addition to the GPUs. If GPU then = cool.

I think Natural Motion looks the best. Havoc is pretty good too. Physics is not the best anyway, I think it is still good though. Hopefully I am not getting mixed up with Euphoria and Natural Motion. I really want to know how you can get an nvidia video card and a ati video card together. sli and crossfire supported motherboard? I guess they can go together.
When I think of physics I usually think of Crysis, even though there are many other games.
Hopefully that has not been disabled, since when I walk on the villians in batman Arkham Asylum, I go right through them.

I think Physx added alot to the game however because it isnt a universal standard its something i can live without. I bought a 9800gt as a dedicated Physx card because i wanted to see the games with Physx support in all there glory.

But if Physx died to make way for a universal system i would be all for that. As long as user can use ANY card as a dedicated Physics Processing Unit i dont see how it would disadvantage either company.

It would be less hassle thats for sure
