DX10.1 is a pioneer technology

it ADVANCES gaming technology

PhysX is an exclusive product, which means it cant help games, it can only help fanboys like you

And besides, PhysX had SOME potential....

that is, before nvidia bought it out and made it crap.

like they always do >.>

again, dx 10.1 advances technology,

physX cant even be used without Nvidia, which not every one has

exclusive technology has, and always will fail.

and All i see with PhysX is a bunch of crap floating around my screen taking my fps away,

no thanks.

i will wait for Havok to properly generate these effects for ALL hardware

actually dx 10.1 does add some good features, it gives developers some more control, adds parallel cube mapping, independent blend modes and quite a few other things, its an excelent extention to dx 10 that really rounds it out.

plus nvidia just bought physx and transformed it into mundane peripheral crap that more closely resembles a cheap mod then anthing else.

How much do you guys wanna bet that half the votes for "must have it" are from psefer?

has anyone see physx in action ?
since all of you have ati you haven't!
and since i have ati in my second pc i know something about ati!
if i was paid from nvidia i wouldn't have ati in my second pc!
i must admit that since i also use ati for viewing bluray rip movies in my television that i am very satisfied with the quality and good cooperation with my lcd tv but for games i wouldn't choose ati allthough at somethimes i was thinking of bying two 4870x2 's just to do side to side comparing!

yeah right... get a life.

Anyway -
Waiting for DX11 and OpenCL implementations - when you do it, do it THE RIGHT WAY.
Anyone sees references to how Glide died ? And anyone remembers NVidia buyed 3dfx out ?
