Regarding Intel and AMD - they are not innocent as well, but they are not aggressive like Nvidia. In end of the day, they are all playing dirty, but Nvidia is doing it on wider and daily basis.

Some people had really good 939 machines and were cut off from very possible upgrades. Most people who it happened to moved to Core 2.

Intel's filth envelopes the world. Unfortunately they happen to make really good products even if the pricing scheme doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
