I pick Dead Space ! farcry 2 was some what of a disappointment S.T.A.K.L.E.R clear skies had better graphics that farcry 2.

I must say you guys need to watch the dead space cartoon and then play the game.

I still havent played clear sky but the first one is probably the most buggy game in history and i hear this one has all sorts of problems too, i have nothing but problems with the original stalker, had to wait over a year after it was released before i could even get it to play the whole way through so i think ill wait a few more months before i bother with clear sky.

Honestly the patches usualy made mroe problems then fixes, two words for the dev team, less vodka.

PC Format magazine gave S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky a 70% rating. AND, that was with the "assumption that there'll be a pretty damned hefty post-release patch...." If there is no patch to remedy the problems, they say you can call Clear Sky a 'disaster'.

But, why would they rate it even that high with all the problems they encountered for the review...which were many...and very serious, too?

well i have no doubt that behind all the problems and the horrible codeing lies a pretty darn good game, the first stalker was quite good if you could actually get it to play the whole way through, the patches never fixed much you had to rely more on 3rd party mods and tweaking it yourself to get it to work semi properly and then just hope and pray that you can make it through the whole game without the story progression getting screwed up somehow and having to start over.

That said, the ending pissed me off, completly ruined the game, all that work just to ge tto the 'wish granter' and have him collapse the building on you, wtf? what a waste of time.

anyways, im sure clear sky is the same engine, and i knew it was gonna be buggy as hell because that company cant seem to be bothered to release working games or patch them correctly, their probably waiting for the players to fix the game themselves.

I agree with you , there were 7 different endings in first stalker game and even I got the same one as you and I was so pissed. BTW you can watch all the endings on youtube.

Stalker clear skies looks good but as you already know very very buggy , there are some serious performance issues too.

WTH guys? The true ending is where you gun down the friggin c-concious dudes and eliminate the zone. What sort of ending were you expecting? If you went to the wish granter you deserve to die because you're not following any of the story. Still haven't had a single crash or freeze or shadow bug with clear sky do this day.

oh lol, thatsa stupid bug, the dead scientist that has the password sometimes falls through the floor (it happened to me too) in the big room where the psudo giant was and all the big metal crates go to the back corner right beside the stairs then crouch down and start pressing your action key while looking at the floor and move around, youll eventually pick the bugger up from under the floor then you can drop him and get the password
