Logitech MX518 on the desktop.
Micro$oft notebook mouse with my laptop (it was a gift, I wouldn't willingly buy this).

I'm using a Razer Lachesis on my desktop, and a Razer Diamondback on my dad's PC. On my Toshiba laptop i just use the touchpad.

Razer Lachesis uses USB + a 4000dpi engine, but that has to be the most useless thing this mouse has, at 4000dpi it's just too sensitive. I just love the feel and shape of this mouse, it is very light yet very solidly made. Right now, I wouldn't trade for anything else, for now...

4000dpi is overkill. I rarely use 1600dpi as it although that's probably because I'm a sniper.

Not crap, I have a A4TECH X718F "gaming" mouse, and Its the best mouse I ever had. I think those are the best for their price and they do a really good job.

Well, whatever the mouse we use, as long as it is good for us, why should we care about the brand name?

Logitech MX518.
I'm using it on 1200DPI, imho it's the best compromise between 1600 and 800.
The mouse is USB but i connected it using the PS/2 adapter.
