Well, as for me, if it wasn't for dx10 and 64-bit, XP would still be my choice. I've tried XP64 and had nothing but problems with my current machine.

Also, is it just me, or it seems to me that the less your computer is powerfull, the more 64-bit makes a difference over 32?.

For example, I installed vista64 on my vista32 equipped Toshiba L300D-01N (AMD QL-60, 1.9ghz) and i noticed a much bigger difference then when i had done it on my desktop machines. Is this just a coincidence or a real fact that I'm not quite aware of?
