With the nearly unlimited ability to upgrade (limited mainly to one's pocketbook/money) the PC provides the overall best platform for gaming.

I've played a few games on the XBOX 360 and plan to continue doing so, but, the fact is, once a person buys a console, that's it. Maybe a hard drive can be upgraded, but, the major components are already outdated by the PC's newer components before the console even hits the market.

I've also played a very few titles on the Wii. But, that console is pretty much gathering dust around our place after close to a year.

So, my vote goes for the PC...hands down.

PC as well... but what i deplore it's the dumping of the consoles games to pc... who make really bad games...

PC all the way but... if someone got tired of upgrading every few months.. console platform would be a great ideea ( i got tired of constantly changing pc components ang got myself a x360 and i must say i am verry pleased with it but... still i feel the need for a good pc rig probably will get one again later this year )

A console can't ever be better than a PC unless it becomes a PC itself. To those who voted for consoles, you have my sincere condolences, live long and prosper .

The only thing that i like in consoles is fact that programes are able to push the hardware to the max. Its the same all the way untill new one pops up. And that given them like 4 years to learn to code it.

I wuld like to see that trend on PC market (good coded/optimized games) , and not just read pupmed up minimum specs

I voted pc (duh) but my favorite console would be the wii, the ps and xbox are kinda boring, they dont have any actually fun games and i cant stand shooters on consoles

Definitely a PC. I like to build it up after it becomes to slow to keep up, which is something you can't do with consoles. I have the xbox (not the 360) and now I'm having fun once in a while to take of heatsink and turning it on etc. anyways its very fun! I just hoped that they would have continued supporting the xbox like they did with the PS2
