1-9 here. There aren't many PC games that are worth the coin!

i agree theres very few really good games that come out each year, i buy a few more cuz my g/f likes the puzzle solving crime scene investigating ones

What i find really sad is that oer 50% said they just pirate, its people like you that are making it hard for the rest of us that dont just pirate and actually do buy the games we like

What I find really sad is this has been going on for years and game manufacturers are really doing nothing about it. I buy games I try and like but prices are overly inflated and to be brutally honest most of the crap coming out in the last few years isn't worth 50 - 70 bucks.

Last game I bought was NHL2007 which was better on the PS2 actually because of the puck control with the analog portion of the PS2 controller (toggle). Before that Max Payne and Half Life Counterstrike thats it. COD4 I am planning on buying because I feel its worth it and may pick up GH3 after playing it on the PS2 as well

i agree mac, game prices are rediculous, which is why i never buy a game as soon as it comes out, i wait for it to drop 20$ or so

but there are thoes that download and actually buy the game if they like it, and the ones that dont give them a bad name and are ruining it for everyone

truthfully there are so few games worth playing these days, but their still charging 50-60$ for a new release, if think the gaming industry, much like the music industry, would do alot better if they cut their prices, not everyones rich enough to be able to just go out and blow that ammout, and thoes that cant afford to, are we just supposed to be screwed because of uncontrolable circumstance?

1)Deliver better quality games rather than buggy wrecks on release.
2)Lower the price and make access easy for everyone.
3)Remove all unnecessary copy protection schemes which only (and I mean ONLY) hinder legit customers and will never stop any pirate any time of the day any day of the week any week of the year.
4)???
5)Profit!

I agree with some of your points as well blindartist but its not pirating that is driving up prices its greed. Those who sit in offices making megabucks never rolled up coins to buy bread and milk
