Right now i have an AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+. I think that this CPU performs very well for the price. Before I used to have a Pentium 4 3ghz with an ASUS P5B motherboard. It was less expensive to change the motherboard and the processor then to get a C2D with the same performance.

My personal builds have alway been amd based. I have always rooted for the under dog. and until recently amd has been top on performance and price. I do not agree with their purchase of ati but give them some time and I'm sure they'll be performance kings again. Down with big brother! Down with INTEL!!!!
