Try google up "pussy" and then "pussycat" and see what you get, that should make it clear to anyone that leaving 3 letters out of a word may suddenly mean something totally different altogether.

first of all - i think it should be written Kabab and indeed it's roasted meat with add-ons to the user's choice.

Shawarma is certainly not a kind of Kabab - it's a roasted combination of turkey meat with lamb fat and sometimes meat as well, and it's my favorite (i think, don't eat out a lot...)
