COD4 for First Person Shooter. Damn this game! I just can't stop playing it. To heck with the propaganda (not as if I'm going to join the SAS or USMC after playing lol) it's got unmatched cinematic graphics AND gameplay!
(Stalker is an fps/rpg hybrid because of the quest system/inventory).

You know, I pre-ordered Crysis and got bored already in the first level. Usually its taking me two-three levels to lose interest. I don’t know. Something is missing in Crysis. However, I already beat Call of Duty 4 two times already, and the single player is really fun and very addictive. To be honest, I had no expectations for CoD 4 before they released it - unlike Crysis.

You know what people always say: “The first game/movie is always the best.” But it doesn’t apply to Call of Duty. The first one was nice, the second one was good and the third (fourth) one is simply amazing. It’s been a while since I had so much fun out in SP mode. CoD 4's campaign is really a kick ass!

Maybe it’s too short but quality is better then amount. I can’t wait for the expansion packs, really great game. Even the music and the voice acting is good in CoD 4. Oh, and the multiplayer is not bad at all as well. Every level in CoD’s SP was great and I liked the ending as well. CoD 4 is much better then many “top 20 games”, it should be in the top 5.

Totally agree. COD4 is the best shooter game I've played in ages. I specially liked the sniper mission in Ukraine, the part where you get swarmed.

Someone obviously thought it was funny to exclude a saving point between the arrival of the choppers and your own escape.

I still think that for me the best game so far was STALKER. For the graphics, the audio, and the ambient feeling.
