Is STALKER from this year? I'm not so shure but if it is... that would definitely be my choice ( i have not tried CoD4 yet) Crysis is all about the graphics engine but i didnt really enjoy it.

Thumbs down Crysis must win!

For god's sake people learn how to vote! CoD4 was very good but Crysis is just simply awesome. Crysis has got to win - i've never played a game that looks and feels so good!! I've played both and I know, I bet half the people voting haven't even played both games...

p.s Blacksite is still to come, i reckon its gonna rock!...

Yes it's from 2007. Not GOTY but definitely single player FPS of the year with UT3 being the multiplayer FPS of the year!
Well it was certainly memorable. Plus the frickin game was made in Ukraine! When the sequel (prequel actually) clear skies is released, I'm jumping on it. How often does that happen? Radiation is back in fashion, everyone wants some and what better place to get your fix than the irradiated zone of Chernobyl? Multiple endings. A graphical engine that doesn't look like shit if you lower the settings (*stares at crysis). Only drawback was that it left me wanting more.

I played both, Crysis and CoD4 and i found out that CoD4 is better than Crysis. Crysis AI is so stupid... and the game story remind me of Far Cry (and some monsters as well). This does NOT mean that I didnt enjoy playing Crysis, I just prefer CoD4 over it.

I couldn't agree more. The graphical engine is A1. The gameplay is the best ive ever seen. I also love the fact that everything is randomized in the game (every time you play the game, it is never EXACTLY the same which means it is impossible to learn by heart which is good). For me there was only two downsides: one there is still quite a lot of bugs even with the latest patches( mainly because it is extremely complicated to create a game with no bugs AND an extremely complex randomization engine --- nearly impossible) and i know that in that game it will be impossible to fix all problems because it is so complex.... and second downside is that it cost me several months of social lifeROFL

At any rate the tile should be FPS of the year else the poll is pointless.
So essentially you are saying Tetris should be added ?

Sorry Bro saw the opening and went for it
