our net providers really need shooting
12 gig limit
costs me a small fortune

3rd world country`s have better net than us aussie`s

we really need a system upgrade, but all they do is talk about it

Smile It's all good....

Well, i ordered their highest speed (Time Warner Cable) ...

10MB Download and 1MB upload..... But i think it is a stinking ripoff @ $54.99/month plus extra charges..... Once you go more (speed), you dont want to go back...

I cant wait until they have FIOS here.... Then i would probably get my monies worth....

Humm at $49.99/month, i think one can get Up to 15 MB Download/ 2MB upload speeds with FIOS - but I dont think they offer it here, yet ... Crossing my fingers! As soon as they offer it, i'm swithching provders- unless cable has a higher speed at the price- which i feel they wont offer.. Who knows? What you think?

Good point Mac Daddy- i know of a friend that has dial up still- in the 3rd world... It is evolving , though i guess.... It is nice to have all the bandwidth , though

Btw - Where are the applications to take use of the increased bandwidth? (other than file sharing and transfers)....

I was thinking of multi video/voice chat conferneces is the wave of the future , at least for messengers - I cant wait! it will be kind of kool

Also, have you /anyone heard of the WiFi Max? technology? something like , if i read /heard correctly, offers miles of wifi range I probably heard/read wrongly- it is probably another technology or i , most likey - have too much ear wax in my ears or catarcts in my eyes or somethin'

I have 100/10mbit fiber connection...

The nordic countries in europe I think have the most advanced network system in the world. When I say advanced, I mean fastest and most available to ppl. So its good to live in Sweden & Finland right now!!
