#37 | | Newbie | I have 4 GB installed , and can use all 4GB since I'm running Windows Server 2003 32bit.
Still as I'm running a 32bit OS , a single userspace application can only use 2GB maximum.
The OS takes up some memory too , but still a lot of memory was going unused.
So I got eboostr and set it to use 1GB system memory as cache .. loading programs and games is now VERY fast.
I still have some memory left that is not being used , so I'm thinking about installing a ramdisk and configuring windows to put the temporary files on it - it should speed things up further. |
