To drop support would be stupid because Nvidia makes some very good products. It's just their marketing and threatening that sucks..

Well i wuld not say that . From my experience with people , IGNORE most of the time is the most anoyng thing to do. Well my girl cant stand it when she screem at me throw things at me . And i just look at her and give her this "lil ignorance smile"
Well most of times after this she reach the RESET button on my case .

I actually think they counted on you putting it out so that it would frighten others in the same situation.

#10 | | Advanced Member | | RAM: Ultra XL 1GB Dual Chan | | This person on the street thinks that going up against nvidia, as evil as they may be, is suicide.
I really like this site a lot, but this site is no match for nvidia's infinitely deeper pockets.
Now if you're really sure that they can't come at you in court because of different laws and court systems, then by all means keep up the fight. But, if there is ANY possibility of a court ruling in nvidias favor... a fight could mean the death of NGO. ...and not to be a pessimist, but the MPAA has shown time and time again that differing laws in different countries makes no difference. If the MPAA, from America, can shut down sites and servers in Europe and Asia over P2P, then its very likely nvidia CAN shut this site down through the same means.
I think that dropping their support and boycotting their products sends a stronger message. Right now nvidia is bullying you around because they think they can do whatever they want. If you could drop them like a rock, and show nvidia that you don't need their endorsement to run a successful site, it sends a strong message. We DONT need nvidia. F*ck them!
