Enjoy the Publicity of the Fight! | | Basically, I am biased, as I am dependent upon NGO drivers exclusively on my W2K machine with the AGP 7900GT.
I do not want NGO to stop supporting the 7900GT in future driver releases.
Since NGO is not based in the US, you are free to behave as you choose. However, with great freedom comes great responsibility.
Abuses of such freedom will have very dire consequences.
I think so far NGO has been very responsible in this matter with nVidia.
NGO must maintain victim-hood status throughout the future in this issue. The public always rallies around the victim - and abandons the aggressor.
Eventually, under the self induced pressures, nVidia will relent and may release a public statement exonerating NGO for their continued support throughout a difficult period.
Given that NGO is not profiting in any way, no international attorney will have any interest in pursuing NGO in nVidia's behalf.
International intellectual property cases are extremely expensive and time consuming, and there is no potential payoff for anyone involved in this matter.
The greatest beneficiary in this is NGO, thanks to the mounting publicity.
Stay smart....Stay the victim!
