in case "NGOHQ" really is not to come into money, i would say continiue and fight them!

imo: when i first red about this, i instantly thought, this must have to do with the fact that the drivers from you guys gives a higher framerat then the nVidia ones, and since nvidia want to sell new cards and don't want that older cards keep up with the new ones (whith help from you), they trying to shut you down.

regards and PLEASE keep up the great work!

hey man, why not have a site dedicated to ati? they are superior in every way (and maybe they will send you free stuff!)

insidia should be boycotted, their strongarm tactics should be fought but that is for the US justice dept. and they ain't gona step in, might be more healthy to shun and ignore their products and support a winner...

The one thing that bothered me and stayed in my mind is ‘why’. Why the hell Nvidia would send such a ridiculous email, it is quite obvious they are just trying to annoy us, it is obvious to everyone. But why would they do that? Now I found out why.

Apparently only sites who have ‘close’ relations with ATI/AMD are receiving legal threats: NGOHQ, OmegaDrivers, DriverHeaven, Clubic, TechPowerup and more. That’s what common among all these sites.

Surprisingly, websites who have good relations with Nvidia never receive that bullshit. Another interesting fact is that almost none of US sites have linked to this story like they usually do, only EU/Asians/Canadian sites have.

Something strange is going on here... maybe Nvidia is trying to attack ATI/AMD support sites. Nvidia, are you trying to apply pressure on ATI/AMD support sites to push ATI to the corner?

none of that comes as a surprise to me regen, i think "insidia" will stoop to the lowest tactics to crush ati, not to stay on top mind you but to snuff the competition entirely. i believe that ati's poor marketing could be due to an nsidia mole on the inside, why else would they make such poor marketing decisions otherwise? but that's just my paranoid opinion...

Since the merger, it is very hard to get samples and cooperation from AMD's PRs.

It appears to me as if nvidia has already stopped supporting this site a long time ago..

but, I guess now that I think about it, I don't think I would stop support for nvidia NGO drivers. I know the ATI ones are always excellent, and if the roles were reversed I would be pissed off if the NGO ATI drivers were stopped.

Plus, its kind of a bold statement, like giving nvidia the middle finger in a way..

the only problem is, they will probably just sue you if you really piss them off.. and that would probably be very not-good.
