can anybody tell me how to fix this?
this is my first modern monitor, an asus i just purchased a couple weeks ago so it's still new territory for me, if i am overlooking something simple take it easy on me but for the sake of my sanity please somebody tell me how to fix this...

BTW i am using the plain CP version of the driver, not saikamaldoss driver...
was that after upgrading to SKD 9.7 or the ATI 9.7 ?

i have not tried SKD as of yet. i'm on XP 32 still.

things went wrong with HDMI out just after upgrading to 9.7 with CP. i was running a 1080 desktop over hdmi cable with the ati dvi to hdmi adapter and it looked really good, a little better than the dvi cable despite the lack of native hdmi.

after the upgrade only the dvi cable carries a proper 1080p and the hdmi connection no longer fills the screen, even though windows and the monitor itself report it is doing 1080, it looks like shit too...

wtf have i done? i have cleaned and reinstalled and downgraded the driver multiple times now to no avail. could it be the monitor? i've only had it for three weeks, asus 24", this is just beyond me...

yea I think that's correct. cause C7 has WDDM 1.1 support which is windows 7 only atm.

also the overclocking isn't working at least if I use remote control software
ill try saterday.

but I don't mind about overclocking anyway cause ati traytools/rivatunner ftw

Has anyone encountered this problem where you can't OC with RivaTuner under 64 bit W7 RC? I just can't activate the required tab as it isn't present in the list.

It worked fine on W7 before, but it doesn't anymore.

The latest, 2.24. It was a tad tiresome getting it to run on 64bit or the first time, but you only have to disable the driver enforcement policy thingy via the bcdconfig app or what it's name.

What happens is this, you can activate the fan profile tab, but you don't have the overclocking tab under the low-level hardware management section.
