Say for example, your driver folder is ATI CAT 8.11 & it is in C drive.

C:\ATI CAT 8.11\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH6A_INF

now inside LH6A_INF, you will see the inf file. replace it with this one. all done start installing the driver like you normally do or use device manager to update driver

info: i noticed that the name of the inf is not the same as of the included inf in my ati cat package! is that on purpose?

i dont think were ever gonna see another ngo optimized driver, maybe you should take over lol

I think i may have a problem.

After i replaced the file, almost all my options in the catalyst control center disappeared.

any one know why?

im using vista 32bit.

maybe i tried the wrong one.

Any one have the link to that version?

my catalyst 8.11 xp 32bit got CX_70226.inf instead of CX_70250.inf that u provide..
should i use to edit 70226 or just replace with 70250 file ?

i read your first post again...
i do not see the tweaking part.
what i see is that you enable geometry instancing and push up AA and AF to maximum?

PS: am i wrong?
PPS: this will kill fps on newest games, with single gpu

This might be a little off topic, but I've yet to find any information regarding the fact that will my HD3850 will be compatible with the Catalyst 8.12 Stream or will that be reserved strictly for HD4*** owners?

No the driver is different then. but if you are using a 32bit windows. you can use the inf(put it in the same folder and use update driver from device manger to install driver). but wont work for 64bit...
