Resident Evil 5 Screenshots
Posted by Regeneration on October 31st, 2009, 08:52 PM

Experience the thrill and terror all over again with Resident Evil 5, now for PC. Featuring Chris Redfield of the original Resident Evil and new partner Sheva Alomar, a West African agent of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), this sci-fi survival game is staged in a remote desert colony packed with hordes of fast-moving, quick-thinking enemies that represent a whole new breed of evil. It features an exciting two-player co-op mode, new costumes, an improved Mercenaries Mode with multiple times as many enemies than the console version of the game, and another first, stereoscopic 3D out of screen effects.

Damn this game is simply terrible. First of all, the video-to-mouse sensitivity is too high and it made me feel really dizzy, and it is hard to control the game. Secondly, you are always out of ammo and it's a pain to switch between weapons. The graphics are okay, but some textures are really poor... and it's a DirectX 10 title. In conclusion, this is just another lame console port.

I played the demo on my ps3 it was ok but like you said I was allways out of ammo and the controls were bad plus it was very hard maybe it would be funner if you played co-op. That fat guy with the large ax keep killing me I shot him with my shogun I don't know how may times. He would corner me in this house and there was noway to get away from him.

I agree with the sensitivity. It was way to high but somewhat bearable if played at low sens. From what I recall of the game, switching weapons wasn't difficult at all. Weapons could be switched using the number keys which I found pretty efficient.

This game is pretty crappy on PS3, but base on these screenies, graphics wise it seems to look a lot better on PC.
