Batman: Arkham Asylum is a single player, third-person action/adventure in which the Dark Knight is forced to take on his greatest challenge yet when he is trapped by arch rival, the Joker, within Gotham City's facility for the criminally insane, Arkham Asylum. | | | | 10 Comments | | | | | for anyone who owns a physx card I have modded the newest nvidia physx software to run batman on standalone physx cards albeit only supporting normal and not high mode as i think the cards simply dont have the memory. This has been tested and the physx effects are there with alot less lag  DaRtH | | | | I got the demo downloaded and played it on my PC...without a nV card.  I also am using my 360 controller and it plays quite well. Actually is appealing to me. Maybe only because I really was quite a Batman fan in the day. | | | | When will these people realize that Joker is dead and as such shouldn't be used in any sequent movie/game/whatthefuckever iterations. | | | | I played the demo. IMO batman is like splinter cell with more dynamic combat, fancy combos, not bad plot. Graphics are based upon unreal III engine so game have low requirements, looks pretty and runs really good on my machine with all possible options enabled. I'm wondering why antialasing can be enabled only on nshitia's cards. Anyway, game is hardly optimized for nshitia and uses a lots of technologies whic it bought, eg. physx. | | | | Just completed the demo. There was one spot in the demo that was causing me some problems. The game would crash. I finally got past this point and was able to complete the demo.

I downloaded the demo from the official website,when I opened it,there were some CRC red errors in extractor..
