The PC is the most popular platform… there is one almost in every house and in every office. The piracy excuse for putting consoles in their highest priority is nonsense as the Xbox 360 is a lot more vulnerable to piracy then PC. Hell, you can even play online with illegal copy on the Xbox! There is not any cdkey system or anything.

The only reason they are supporting consoles more than PCs is corruption bribe money from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. PC deserves the highest priority because it is the most popular platform. The majority use PC – there is no single doubt about that.

The only thing that can help is a big protest move against publishers. The PC is the most popular platform and they should treat it like that. It is unacceptable that such big titles like GTA and FEAR end up as lame console ports. Bugs, DRM, In-Game advertisement, console ports! PC gaming is getting a lot of shit.

Yes mate, it is really it... Damn, wtf... I even can not to have forced af like in other games i can without any problems ;-( Even when i disable af in drivers lights still look ugly, but i do not have this weird effect anymore.


I played few minutes 'till now... guys, do you have in full version same issue what was in demo? I'm askin' about choking, freezes without reason etc.? Game runs well, stops for second, few seconds and after it it runs well to another freeze.

The full game is apparently worse if not the same. The idiots at monolith have decided to ommit a quicksave system so you have to rely on the game's autosaves which seem to happen with every 5 steps you take. Unlike COD4/5 where the saving is smooth and seamless the autosaving in FEAR2 is poorly optimized and the pause is noticeable on all platforms (PC/PS3/XBOX360).

I only had this pausing issue on the PC demo. On the Xbox its gone. I guess you will have to wait for the first patch to fix it.

I'm getting some kind of >blackout< in fear... I have no idea why..

Actually, Deus Ex 2 wasn't THAT bad. It wasn't so great either, but I enjoyed playing it anyways. Nothing will ever beat the original though.

Well even the story sucks. At least deus ex 2 had decent endings. Seriously even GAIA ONLINE is more scary than this.

The latest patch really improved the game. But still it feels like a port, hell, you don't even have to aim people. The plot is so boring and ridiculous, the game is too easy.

Once you finish the singleplayer (short, extremely easy, lame story, no scary parts) the multiplayer is not as good as FEAR : Combat (Which is free btw).

I thought the remnants, assassins and abominations were supposed to be a challenge. Game's on hard difficulty and they're easier to kill than the rats. Game needs an extreme difficulty option added but even that won't save it.
