I honestly don't know what people are talking about when they say Intel is to hot of a processor, mines OVERCLOCKED and I run 36 C flat, no ups nor downs. Maybe its just the cooling or what, conidering my tower came with its own exhaust and an extra fan on the side for OC, but I just think maybe there isn't that much difference in temps for some PC's could be just me...... :read:

well i guess compared to the northwoods and AMD A64 cpus they are alittle hotter. but as long as u have good airflow there is nothing wrong with the Intel CPUs

Prescott here.

I have been up in the high 80 C with my prescott, that was at 3,9Ghz with reference cooler.

Thats at full load and at 3,9 with the stock cooler!!

I don't, I like to push the hardware beyond the default.

I don't think its going to crash anyway.
