Lightbulb Intel Chipsets

975BX2 is the most stable chipset out. It has respectable overclocking headroom.

965 has more (450+) but that is only needed to max out lower end cpus like 6300/6400 series with lower multipliers. It's a nice budget chipset for people who could care less about SLI/Xfire.

nvidia 680i is out as well. You have three solid choices for chipsets in the Intel C2D world.

Jagur is right though, intel quad core is not worth it.
