if you want to OC and dont want a Conroe get a Pentuim D 805 and oc the hell out it.
if you do it right it outperforms a FX60.

but i will try to get 930 or 940(945) i think that is presler core
i think i can get high oc with it
p.s.i was geting a 4010 with celeron but for some resone system just crush (heat was not that high 65˙C cpu and 40˙C chipset)

nop it cant be that i have puted higher stability power supply on 520W
this procesor is to weak it have a low cache memory(256L2)
need something stronger 2x2Mb cache how high GHz that is not important

It's mast be the the value of the cpu.
Maybe the Memory want more voltage, the chipset want more voltage.

Buy the 805 withe 1MBC.

ok there is no problem with voltage
i am making a mod of codegen PSU so my case will 2 PSUs one(520W) that suport mbo,and gpu the other(400W) will suport DVD-RW, DVD-Player, 4 Fans,Hdd and case display

about cpu i have allredy orderd 930 or 945 (first one that come in store)

nice.

the pentium D is a real good choice
i cannot recommend any amd because i have little of no experience with those.
For a 100 bucks you can go dual core and it performs real good.
See here below, it clocks just fine
