Default cpu overheat...

Hi, I got this cpu:
P-D-820 (dual 2.8GHz - 2x 1MB)

Its say max temperature is: 63c

My iddle temp. is about 50c ..

On games it reach alittle more then 63c

And in like simulators games its 65-70c what cause the game to crush..

Now how can I fix that... And why its reach that temp. at all?

820 it's a hot cpu
if not cooled propely may cause problems / instability
use a bigger cooler than Intel's stock

Exactly! My AMD64 idles at 30-33c depending on room temp and never goes higher than 40c. Unless you're an Intel zombie that is.

Buy a conroe, they run very cool.... If your using the stock cooler and the stock gray colored crap they put on the heatsink, get yourself some good thermal compound and try reseating the cpu. Just remember, you want a paper thin amount of evenly spread compound on the cpu. Too much can be just as poor-performing as not enough. My last system had a p4 3.0 ghz prescott, and that processor idled at 50 degrees celcius and under stress, got as hot as 75 degrees!!! That processor was supposed to run that hot, I don't believe yours is...
