witch cpu to buy

i have a dual-core X2 4400+ and it even benchmarks higher than the fastest dual-core Intel CPU, but i've also noticed it benchmarks better than reference models from various reviews :-P its actually comparative to a 4800, heh. when overclocked, it really pumps it muscles. approx. 7600 marks on PCMark04 (about 7250 on the CPU) at 2.64GHz. still gonna get better memory though, heh... i had a socket A sempron 2800+ prior to this system, and it was a HUGE difference. i use that system now at a friends who i sold it to, and it feels so sluggish. its still able to play recent games, but make sure to put money into a decent video card if you plan on gaming.

now i have AMD Barton 2500+, MSI K7N2 delta-ilsr, 2x512 ddr pc3200 PQI, 80 gb Maxtor ata/133 ultra, Gainward 6600 GT 128 ddr3 (agp).
