Sempron 64 3400+ or Athlon 64 3000+?

The Sempron 3400+. IMHO is just not up to the demanding loads of todays gaming, they work fine in office apps and such, but you want the most processing power you can get for todays games.

A64 and Not sempron the smaller cach really affect the CPU and you will get a degraded performance
and OC is allways better with the A64 .

more cache memory is help alot if the processer smart to use without any waste of clock cycle

but sad in my country have only venice core on store cant find any of sandiego and above

Athlon 64 3000+,its faster.Sempron is not that fast.

Athlon 64 3000+ for sure, especially if they're the same price, as the A64 3000+ has double the cache.

cache is really important in any application you may use .
the A64 will perform better in any given applicatin compared against the sempron

Yeah.. remember the athlon 64 could use dual channel and this is best for perfomance.. And the sempron`s bus is 800.. athlon 64`s bus is 1000...

Go with the 3000+. Sempron won't do you as good as the 3000+

athlon 64 3000+ of course...cache memory is importont and athlon's bus is faster..
