#1 | | Guest | Good, cheap CPU? can anyone recommend a good, cheap CPU? right now im running a AMD 3000+ @ 2.2 Ghz, but its only running 166 FSB...

#4 | | Guest | Yep get an AMD64 either 3000+ or 3200+ and you could over clock it pretty easy to sqeeze a little more out it,but both are nice and fairly cheap right now. | |

#6 | | Dedicated Member | Are you looking for amd64 cpu or athlon cpu? If you are looking for athlon, then I think you should just stick iwth what you have. If you are looking for a big upgrade to a new mobo/cpu, then Iwould suggest go for the amd64 socket 939 pcu. |
