Good, cheap CPU?

can anyone recommend a good, cheap CPU? right now im running a AMD 3000+ @ 2.2 Ghz, but its only running 166 FSB...

And how much would that CPU go for on ebay?

your cpu is fine at the moment!! :P
depends on where you are in the world.
but a A64 3200+ is decently priced

Yep get an AMD64 either 3000+ or 3200+ and you could over clock it pretty easy to sqeeze a little more out it,but both are nice and fairly cheap right now.

No doubt 3200+ , the 3000+ is being phased out by AMD

Are you looking for amd64 cpu or athlon cpu? If you are looking for athlon, then I think you should just stick iwth what you have. If you are looking for a big upgrade to a new mobo/cpu, then Iwould suggest go for the amd64 socket 939 pcu.

yeah... i realized that mines not as bad as i thought it was... it owns my brother's amd64 754 3000+
