i got a AMD3800+
2400Mhz

2x 1GB of ram GEIL 3-8-4-4 x400MHz

i want to overclock it ...
but overclock it ...
something something

and the best of all i bought a
ZALMAN waterblock
i wanna get some advices
my CPU temperature is now :

28* c*

why overclock so good pc? Expensive parts can brake if cooling is not enough.. Anyways you can probadly overclock from bios and it depends on your motherboard what overclocking features you have. And you can get to bios by pressing Delete (or something else) when starting computer. Motherboard's manual is good for this

28C ?! my 2.8 prescott is working on 50-60 with Zalman 7700cu (or was it 7000cu?)

zor prescott is extreeeeemle hot cpu amd athlon 64 is very cold and mutch better for overcloaking .Ofcorce the water cooling helps a lot our friend consp1re.
i have amd 64 3000+ 512 l2 slot 754 now it is summer and i am working at 41-42c and the outside temprature is today at 38c(very hot day)!At the winter my cpu working at
38-39c with the official cooler from box!!!

Consp1re do the overclock slow with 1-3 mhz steps and much tests!!!
the be sure if the new fsb speed can the wole system hold .....
if all works good you will take easy 2800mhz with this temprature 28c !!!! ffs
