Default New CPU for Laptop

hi guys,

its time to get a new laptop, but while looking the specs,
i noticed that my notebook uses:
PC2-4200S ram, which sounds like ddr2 to me (so 4ven 4gb would be only 40 euro)
therefore my next view was on cpu, and its a centrino built in,
which cpu could i fit into the laptop? as i do not know the socket (m or p)?
(a core 2 duo would be nice)
something like this:
http://geizhals.at/a334333.html
(i guess i would loose the WLAN support then?)

can you tell?

thanks in advance
lumo

PS: i only have an NV6200 onboard, but i am not into gaming on the laptop anyway!
PPS: my laptop is an ASUS Z9200VC - 15,4" notebook

Upgrading CPUs on a laptop is possible if it isn't soldered (must be a socket). Providing you can also acquire the parts.

still i do not know intel centrino's socket...
i sent mail to asus, but no reply yet.
(sent another query to asus due my computers mainboard in office) but the reply button seems to send the reply to /dev/0

prntium M appears to be dual core :/ => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_M
i think M stand for Mobile

so it's almost the same as your CPU. so 2Gb max.
