Default Will Deneb beat Wolfdale?

We won't know for sure until Deneb is released. But what would you predict?

... The 3.2 GHz Deneb might lose the battle with Intel's Nehalem, given the fact that the latter will come with a modular micro-architecture that can be scaled up for increased performance. However, faster chips will tighten the gap between Intel's mainstream quad-cores and AMD's similar offerings....
dont know will it be able to do anything (talking about AM2+)

One thing is for certain. Deneb can't be as overclockable as Wolfdale.

If AMD made some architectural changes rather than just manufacturing this processors on a 45nm fab, then it could be possible.

The changes include 3x bigger L3 cache (6mb up from 2mb), lower cache latency and higher IPC but the manufacturing process will be 45nm SOI while high k comes later. Too little too late.
