Actually, it's more advanced than core temp. Currently only supports intel chips though.

Why are there 10c differnce between Core Temp and Real Temp, which is more correct?

yes real temp it's more then core temp, i like that it shows the temperature difference between current temp and tj.max pretty usefull

Running World Community Grid 24/7 my 6000+ stays pretty cool @ 54°C with an OCZ Vanquisher Cooler. Laptop also running when possible and stays at 70°C maximum (AMD QL-60). Temperatures taken with Everest latest version.
