Default Help on OC an x2 +4600 to 3.0

Hi there,
need some help from u
my currently oc is at 2.900
Bus speed is at 242 mhz
turn it to 250 mhz , got a bsod from xp
now my problem
I can`t turn the VCore higher as 1.200
don't know why at bios limit is 1.200
have done a bios update to the newest , no changes
the heat is at 31 C idle and 46 C load
got an M2N-E SLI Bios v. 1102
Kingston HyperX DDR 800 @ 805 mhz

try to update the bios maybe higher voltajes will be availaible.mine it's perfectly stable running @ 250fsb x 12multiplier but 1.4 v. also what core is it ... brisbane or windsor ?

I got the Windsor core
I updated the bios 2 days ago... its Rev 1102
looked at asus page , its the latest ver.
I also can't change the voltage at nTune

mine's brisbane but i had the same problem when using the latest bios F13 but with the F11 i had control back into my hands try a previos bios version, it should be stable @ 3ghz 1.4 v

i googled it , on m2n-e sli u cant turn the vcore higher. there must be an vcore bios mod or something ....

didn't know that but for a 100mhz difference it doesen't matter that much.

i am currently at 2880 if i put to 3ghz it runs a few seconds and then the system hangs ...

it doesen't have enough juice for the cpu, 1.2 v is to low... my brisbane has a default vcore of 1,35 and it runs great @ 2.9 ghz with that but if i increase it to 1.4 it runs with no problem at all on 3ghz or above.

i know , but i cant take the vcore to 1,4 .... i google like shit
but cant find anything . I seen a cpu volt mod , with connecting the pins..
thats nothing for me

try lowering the ht multiplier even more maybe that would make it more stable...
