Its something that looks so cool & i'm really excited about but i don't know much about it and would like to know more, like when is this supposed to be released?... Is it going to be easily upgradeable for those of us who have socket AM2 sytems already? And how much are they expected to cost?

All you need is a simple bios update from the Asus website. You could also upgrade to the next generation motherboards but I haven't seen any nforce(sli) AM2+ yet.

With a rig like yours upgrading would be pointless. You'll have to wait for some SLI ready AM2+ motherboards. Then you can just easily transfer everything to the new motherboard and maybe get a processor upgrade (Can't see why you'd want one).
