#1 | | Dedicated Member | | GPU: Radeon HD 4870 1024 MB | | c1e Since I got my first CPU (Pentium 4 Hyper Threading) a few year ago, I always saw this c1e option in my BIOS. So, what is this c1e? Does it effect CPU performance if I disable it? |

#2 | | Site Staff | C1E is part of SpeedStep (Like AMD's Cool and Quiet). Disable for the best performance, and enable for power saving. |

#4 | | Site Staff | If you're using ASUS Maximus Extreme, also make sure to update to the latest BIOS and make sure to disable USB legacy support to avoid DDR2 issues. |
