But I picked Q6600 because it's in the same price like the E6750, but get two more cores, and it's futureproof. Quad Core support will improve soon, probably after AMD will release their Phenom series. |

| I don't know why you said that.
AM2 Motherboards will support upcoming AMD processors with just a bios update. This is no different to socket 775 intel motherboards that require a bios update to run newer core2s.

I have seen at least 2 cpu-z screenshots of the phenoms running on nvidia 590 chipset AM2 boards, whether they are the real are not I don't know.
Anyway in a few weeks all shall be revealed.

i have founded one more mbo(DFI infinity sli board) cheaper, around 80$ (not used and with only 6months warranty) |

#19 | | Stuck in "April 1st" | | M/B: Asus Rampage Formula | | | RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB PI Black | | Here are the new AM2+ motherboards from Asus and Gigabyte: Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe/Wifi-AP Gigabyte DS4, DS5 and DQ6
As you can see the AM2+ boards are also compatible with AM2 cpus. So now we know AM2 works on AM2+ and AM2+ works on AM2. Of course the use of AM2+ cpus allows faster RAM depending on the motherboard.
