Glad to hear you got a G0 stepping Regen! I've heard they are very good indeed. Also that Asus Maximus is very similar to my plain Jane P5E, with which I'm extremely happy. Now if could just afford another GPU upgrade ... :P

Regeneration,
I am new to overclocking and wanted to know how you were able to achive higher speeds with the Q6600 with the G0 stepping. I have that chip and stepping, the gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R with the P35 chipset and combo DDR 2/3. I am running OCZ PC2 800 4 gigs of ATI Ccrossfire certified ram. The Ageia/Nvidea physyx card, Bigfoot killer nic, Antec 900 case with Antec Quattro 1000 watt true power supply, HIS HD 3870 DDR4 512 video card, Thermalright Ultima - 90 heatsink with 92 mm vantec fan. Asus optical drive, 2 500 gig samsung Sata 2 hard drives, and can not forget the floppy.

i have the motherboard version 1.1, bios f11e. I am using my DVI th HDMI converter to use a HDMI cable to my 19'Benq fn94vw monitor. any advice on overclocking is greatly appriciated. I am using xp pro x 86 sp 3.
